Tranzo Care Salon: Valuing experience knowledge and collaboration in addiction care and youth work

During this online care salon, we focused on collaboration between youth work and health and wellbeing for youngsters with addiction problems, the input of experience knowledge from adult addiction treatment, and the role of Black Hole/Mind (Zwarte Gat/Mind) in policy.

In the field of labor, wellbeing and health, the effects of specific interventions have been studied in which attempts have been made to promote the opportunities and capabilities of participants, thus contributing to sustainable participation. In this seminar, a number of senior researchers shed their lights on these issues from different perspectives: labor and HR management, social security, care and wellbeing, and mental health.

Symposium ‘Psychology of Older Adults: from Psychosomatics to Heroic Tragedy’

Together with the Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology, we organized a symposium on the challenge of providing appropriate treatments for older adults with mental disorders. Speakers addressed recent developments in psychodiagnostics and psychotherapy in older adults ranging from those living at home to nursing homes and mental health institutions.
